I look forward to being part of the staff at Butner Schools.  My husband is Coy McCorkle and he is the OSU extension agent for Seminole and Hughes County and we live near Yeager, OK on a small farm.  I have two adult children, Ty and Chase as well as a stepson, Colton.

I come from a background in Juvenile Justice where I worked for the Office of Juvenile Affairs for 13 years.  I was a supervisor for the Juvenile Services Unit (probation & parole).  I then changed careers and became a middle school conselor at Wewoka Schools and then an elementary principal.  I was recently the high school counselor at Holdenville.  I believe that ALL kids can learn, but in different styles and at various paces, so it is our job to figure that out and help kids to learn.
